As it turns out, the bath bomb is made by Belfast-based company Bella Muerte Clothing, which specialises in all things gothic and creepy.

Maria of Bella Muerte told BuzzFeed that the ‘hex bombs’ (which also come in blood red and slime green) are completely handmade, and contain different fragrant oils for a relaxing yet spooky bath time.

To our surprise the response to the hex bombs has been amazing. I honestly just wanted to make a gothic product that I would have been happy to purchase.
